About the job
Copperleaf Tree Co. does removals and pruning for homes and commercial properties across the Denver area, with a crane on site most weeks. The crew works four ten-hour days, Monday to Thursday.
What you'll do
- Climb and rig on removals and pruning jobs
- Work crane picks with the crane operator and the crew lead
- Take part in the job briefing every morning
- Look after your climbing gear and report anything worn
What you need
- Three or more years of production climbing, including rigging over buildings
- Aerial rescue training, and current first aid and CPR
- A driver's license. A commercial license (CDL) is a plus
- ISA Certified Arborist is a plus, not a must
What you get
- US$32–38 an hour, depending on experience
- Overtime pay after 40 hours in a week
- Health insurance after 60 days
- Paid holidays, and one week of paid vacation in the first year
- Certification exam fees paid by the company
Gear
The company supplies saws, rigging gear and protective equipment. Bring your own saddle and climbing line if you prefer them.
