About the job

Spring and summer are our busy months. We are hiring several climbers from October to March for pruning and removals around Christchurch. We are an accredited employer and give you the job offer for your visa application.

What you'll do

  • Climb on residential pruning and removals
  • Some hedge and shelterbelt work
  • Work in crews of three

What you need

  • Three or more years of climbing
  • An arboriculture qualification, or the experience to show for it
  • A full driver's licence

What you get

  • NZ$34–40 an hour
  • Help finding shared housing
  • Holiday pay as New Zealand law sets out

Gear

The company supplies saws, rigging gear and protective equipment. Bring your own climbing gear if you can travel with it.

Work visa

We are an accredited employer under the New Zealand Accredited Employer Work Visa scheme, so we can hire from overseas. We give you the job offer. You apply for the visa yourself, and Immigration New Zealand decides.
